Singham Returns

Singham Returns, the sequel to the 2011 film, Singham is a Hindi action film directed by Rohit Shetty and produced by Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgan starring Ajay Devgan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amole Gupte, Anupam Kher.

Like in previous film, Singham, now in Singham Returns, Ajay Devgan as Bajirao Singham is back with action to vanish the bad in Mumbai.

The story begins with Bajirao trying to give justice to an old police officer who is enable to catch bikers due to multiple health issues.Then enters Avni Kamat played by Kareena Kapoor Khan, sister of his friend and both of them start developing feelings for each other.

The plot has lots of action, signature Shetty style stunts, machines and men bursting into flames, etc. Gurujiplayed by Anupam Kher is a good political leader who tries to bring good changes in the societylike youth development, women’s safety, etc. while Swamiji played by Gupte is a corrupt politician opposing Guruji’s intentions who loots the society with blind faith. When Guruji gets murdered by Swamiji, the real story begins. Bajirao with satka dimaag and a solid mission enters to kill the baddies.

The dialogues are like dynamite, the story plays quite safely, and the action and stunts are risky. The film seems bit lengthy and needs to be edited but still it’s quite enjoyable. Amol Gupte gave a superb and killing performance. Kher did a nice job at his role as well. The lady Singham, Kareena payed well with slipping laughs and clicking selfies. And finally Ajay devgan had a brilliant job with more power than before.

Verdict: Singham Returns yet again is a watchable film on the big screen. All the actions and killing dialogues are enjoyable on the big screen itself.
