Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For is an English crime thriller film and a sequel to the 20015 film, Sin City directed by Robert Rodriguez, Frank Miller and produced by Robert Rodriguez, Aaron Kaufman, Stephen L'Heureux, Sergei Bespalov, Alexander Rodnyansky, Mark Manuel starring Mickey Rourke, Jessica Alba, Josh Brolin, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Rosario Dawson, Bruce Willis, Eva Green, Powers Boothe, Dennis Haysbert, Ray Liotta, Jaime King, Christopher Lloyd, Jamie Chung, Jeremy Piven, Christopher Meloni, Juno Temple.

The story starts with Marv who tries to piece together various events, Sin City's shadowy, gritty and bloody tales which are graphically spread over a group of stories. Like the first Sin City, this one also shows the same palette of light and shade but a deeper darkness. All the monologues by the tough men, deliberate lines, and characterizations are shown here with a strong cast.

Johny, a gent is a card sharp and lucky with slot machines. The highlight here is Eva Green's Ava Lord who prtrayed with strategically placed splashes of colors. Everyone had done a very nice job here. The camera work and direction was really appreciative. But still with large cast, linearity and strict structure are missing.

Verdict: Overall it's a good movie and you can watch it for its visuals than anything else.
