Rowdy created positive buzz since Ram Gopal Varma launched it. Moreover the promos also created great responses from fans and many expectations were observed among movie lovers at sky high. It’s an emotional family drama with action. Mohan Babu and Vishnu Manchu were the center of attraction in this movie. Gripping narration, punching dialogues, scintillating music, beautiful cinematography, intense actions, romance, comedy and sentimental scenes were few of the plus points of Rowdy.

Coming to the story, Ram Gopal Varma got inspired from his own Hindi movie, Sarkar but he made few changes the according to the Telugu audience. In fact it made it a notch better than the Hindi movie. Rowdy is a political thriller movie revolving around the hero’s struggles against the villain who is the person behind corruption in the society. It is a good film showing all the human emotions. Anna Garu played by Mohan Babu is a perwerful person in Rayalseema and all the politicians and officials work under his guidance. Anna has two sons, Bhushan played by Kishore and Krishna played by Vishnu Manchu. Bhushan is cruel and arrogant while Krishna is obedient and intelligent due to which Anna treats Bhushan badly. Taking advantage of this Anna’s enemies plan to kill him with the help of Bhushan. So, the entire story is all about how Krishna saves his father from Bhushan. Stern looks and dialogues by Mohan Babu in this movie are the main attractions. His never played before role in this movie steals viewers’ hearts. At the same time his son, Vishnu also did great job in terms of action. Jayasudha and all other actors are also at their roles. In the technical front, Rowdy’s songs and background score have won the hearts. Cinematography became strength of this movie.

Verdict: It’s a must watch movie for Mohan Babu’s fans. He has done a tremendous job in Rowdy and all the other elements like sounds, music, and cinematography are its strengths.
