The story is about a family and a revenge. The two brothers, Ram (Shaam) and Lakshman aka Lucky (Allu Arjun) from chldhood used to play pranks and fight on small issues. Ram was a sincere police officer while Lucky was a happy easy go guy. Lucky falls in love with Spandana (Shruti Haasan) and when everthing was fine, Siva Reddy (Ravi Kishan), a politician enters the story and files papaers to run the elections. To stop him, Ram as a police officer goes to arrest him wth proofs. While Siva Reddy thinks to kill Ram, Lucky takes Ram's van instead and gets attacked by the angry Siva Reddy. Lucky comes to know that he's behind his brother and so in anger attacks Siva in return. This makes Reddy anger and pledges to take revenge on Lucky's family.

Allu Arjun has developed much as an actor and Race Gurram is one of his commercial hits. The positives of this movie are Allu Arjun, Brahmanandam and cinematography. You can definitely enjoy by seeing Brahmanandam as Kill Bill Pandey. The brother-brother conflicts, high energy, romance and comedy together made this movie a good one.
Race Gurram is the 14th movie to enter elite club of 40 crore (2nd to Allu Arjun) which was achieved in only 10 days. It also 6th movie to enter elite club of 50 crores (1st to Allu Arjun).
The film also entered the 1 million club with 8th position and 1st o Allu Arjun. Overall, it's a very good movie to watch with your family.
