Purani Jeans is a movie revolving around a gang of friends who go through various stages of love, romance, betrayals and break-ups. The story is all about Sidharth, his best buddy Sam, and another 3 friends who develop friendship bonds among them and a love triangle with these two best friends in it.Trust, friendship, jealousy, joy, envy, love, pressures, and finally moving in their own way.

These 5 boys call themselves the Kasauli cowboys. Sam, the jaan of this cow boys group is a very rich guy and a wannabe rockstar. Sid is his best friend, a simple guy. The remaining three guys are Suzi, Tino, and Bobby. Sam is from London and lands in Kasauli with wild partying, and Punjabi rock. Then enters Nayanatara (Izabelle) into the woods with a plastic smile and there starts the love triangle. The best buddys are in love with her now. One is ready to seduce her and the other just zips it with no reason. Slowly the purani dosti loses the coolness, color and chemistry.

Bassu’s story with Ram Sampath’s music is out of style and couldn’t reach the expectations.  Story is too stretchy and straight and the characters are quite poor with average performances.

Verdict: Overall it’s an average movie. It’s recommended to watch only if you have enough time and money to spend on.
