N Venkateswara Rao aka Venky played by Naga Shourya dreams of becoming a TV news reader like his bed ridden father. He works in a TV studio owned by Uday played by Srinivas Avasarala. Uday keeps on denying Venky’s requests. Uday is an awkward guy who and doesn’t communicate properly with women. Few years back Venky visits relative’s house in Vizag and there he falls in love with Prbhavathi played by Rashi Khanna. But later due to few misunderstandings, they break up. Now Uday sees a picture of Prabhavathi and falls for her. He forces Venky to help him impress her. He wants to marry her and the entire story revolves on how these guys work on it.

Naga Shourya looks good and had good body language which suits his aggressive character. He did a decent job as a first timer. Rashi Khanna looks beautiful and did good job in this film as well with a pleasant screen presence. Srinivas got very good scenes in the second half of the film and excelled with his performance. Music direction by Kalyann Koduri was also good. A cameo as a black ticket seller by him was done in this film with confidence. All the remaining actors have also done good job at their respective roles.

The story of Oohalu Gusagusalade was clean and simple with loads of dialogues. This type of plots works well in theatres due to limited characters and limited places. The director applied his own style of classy humor in the characters and his own. The screenplay was so convenient. There are yet few flaws which they could’ve taken care of but still these can be neglected.

Kalyann Kodur’s song composition was so good. All the four songs are melodious. Dialogues written by Srinivas Avasarala excelled in this film. Cinematography was ok while editing could have been better.

Verdict: Overall Oohalu Gusagusalade is a good feel romantic film with nice plot. This weekend you can plan to watch this film with your friends.
