Nee Jathaga nenundali is a telugu romantic film and a remake of Bollywood blockbuster, Aashiqui 2. It’s directed by Jaya Ravindra and produced by Bandla Ganesh starring Sachiin j Joshi, Nazia Hussain.

The story revolves around the career and love life of Raghav Jyaram and gayathri Nandana. Raghav is a popular singer who’s on a verge of losing everything owned by him one after the other and then everything seems to change when he meets Gayathri, an aspiring singer. Her voice jolts him to life again. But unfortunately his addiction to alcohol creates the problem.

The story of Nee Jathaga Nenundali is simply faithful to Aashiqui 2. The chemistry between the lead pair is ok while the music is good. With all the scenes and music, the film feels uninspiring and bland. The chemistry between the pair is good but the two leads just keep on trying to imitate Adistya Roy and Shraddha Kapoor instead of doing something their own. Aashiqui is missing in the remake of Aashiqui 2.

The film begins with RJ, an alcoholic who has already accepted the fact that he can never gain his fame back and when he meets Gayathri and listens to her singing his song, he decides to make her a big star. As time passes by, he falls in love with her and confesses it to her. However, Gayatrhri tries to help him and even RJ accepts and gets ready but deep down his hart knows that it’s not possible anymore.

The story is so good and since it’s a super hit film, one can’t imagine it can go wrong. But it did. Sachiin got so much for his role but in an attempt to do everything well, he flattered again and again. The worse to say is the drawl in his voice which makes the audience feels it unbearable.

The music saved this film but the scenes and moments turned it out so boring. Few films unexpectedly entertain us and the same way few films we hope will entertain us, disappoint so badly like this one. It feels so longer and depressing.

Verdict: Aashiqui 2 lovers will never like Nee Jathalo Nenundali. This could only be the bottom line for this film review.
