Maine Pyar Kiya is a Telugu romantic film directed by Pradeep Madugula and produced by Venkat Rao, Upendra Kumar Girada starring Pradeep Ryan, Isha Talwar, Komal, Posani Krishna Murali, Praveen, Uttej.
Naveen Chinthapandu is a software professional who keeps flirting with every girl. Then enters his childhood friend, Shalini whom Naveen tries to impress. Both like each other but Shalini never expresses her feelings to him. When she comes to know that Naveen created some problem in the past, she tries to stay away from him always. It’s related to Bharath and Malathi. The entire story about her past, and how both get together in present situation.
Pradeep had done quite a good job at his role as a flirt. Isha looks beautiful in this film and have performed well as well. All the remaining actors have also done great job.
The story isn’t that good and the climax was really bad. Solution to an unexpected problem was the most debatable. Last half an hour seemed quickly edited. The chemistry between the two leads was quite good in the first half. Madhumita and Satyadev had nice chemistry in the second half. However the story and screenplay lacked badly in this film and it ouldn’t give that ample scope to any star. Coming to the highlights, cinematography and music are in list. Editing could have been better. The editor could have cut few gay scenes and few more unwanted scenes.
The positives of this film include the second half and the music while the negative side includes the first half, gay scenes, and narration.
Verdict: Maine Pyar Kiya is a kind of film that requires some patience to enjoy. It can be watched just once for your timepass with friends.
