Saptagiri covers the screen space most of the second half entertaining the audience. You can’t help yourself but to laugh. His role is the most interesting one among all the characters.
Chitra Subramanyam is a man hater. According her, all men are flirts. So, she won’t live and won’t let live anyone with her strange mission to eat her friends’ minds breaking relations with their boyfriends. Siddu is one her victims but he’s not like her. He in fact helps his friends to find their love. Now what will Siddu do? He loves her but is it possible? He weaves a story and gets entangled in it himself. This takes him to the mental hospital. This magajathi animuthyam now tears women’s pictures, beats a man who talks to his daughter over phone, beats women for their dressing sense, breaks TV for intolerable dances by women, and he keeps on doing this. Now Siddu has to be tamed and he needs to win Chitra’s heart anyway. How will he solve these plenty of problems now?
Sumanth had done his role with ease while Nanditha had limited herself to few expressions.
Verdict: Lovers is a good movie and is enjoyable especially the comedy by Saptagiri.
