Koyelanchal is a Hindi film produced and directed by Ashu Trikha starring Vinod, Suniel Shetty, Vipinno and Roopali Krishnarao. The movie was released on 9th May, 2014 and is all about coal mafia of Dhanbad, Jharkhand and about a sincere government officer.
Saru Bhan Singh (Vinod Khanna) is the coal mafia leader and godfather of Rajapur whom everyone from poor to rich, from cops to politicians and even killers worship and can’t raise their voice against him except the district collector, Nisheeth Kumar (Suniel Shetty). Henchman of Saryu, Karua (Vipinno) injures Nisheeth’s wife badly and kidnaps his son as well which lead to more murders.
Koyelanchal lacked script and story. It keeps on wondering the audience about what the movie is all about with many random characters jumping in and out of it. The poor action scenes disappointed the audience and terrified with the sound effects.
The bad news is even the strong personalities like Vinod Khanna and Suniel Shetty couldn’t save the movie. Though Vipinno got the maximum footage, he couldn’t justify his role at all. Even a single moment couldn’t evoke a reaction.
Verdict: Koyelanchal turned out badly and the script received poor critics. It totally lacked a good story and script and so is not recommended. Keep away these coal mines.
