Khwaabb is a Bollywood romance, drama mixed movie directed by Zaid Ali Khan and produced by Moraad Ali Khan with Navdeep Singh and Simer Motiani as lead characters. It was released on 9th May, 2014. Music composition credits goes to Sandeep Chowta and Sajjad Chadwani.
The movie revolves around the dreams of athletes to win medals for India. Movie reflects the ambition and passion Indian athletes have and finally fail due to some reason. India with 1.2 billion of population is unable to produce talented athletes because of dirty politics and corrupted officials and these people waste such talents just for some money and power.
The movie is all about how the guy struggles and goes through many difficulties due to these corrupted officials and somehow manages to achieve the goal. The story and the dialogues are very impressive due to the uniqueness. New actors in this film also have done quite a good job. Though the music is bit poor and went well with the movie, narration lacked the coherency and direction went bad. The director tried his best to highlight the problems arising in an Indian athlete’s life but still the audience doesn’t seem to like the narration much.
Verdict: Khwaabb got good script and dialogues but the narration, direction and music failed. With these reasons, Khwaabb couldn’t achieve its goal and win the audience’ hearts.
