Nikhil a medical student gets entangled with famous temple of a village with its conspiracy surrounds. The story is about unraveling the secrets of the mysterious deaths that occurred in the village.
It is rare to find a completely satisfactory suspense thriller in Tollywood industry. With all the clichés and dabbling Karthikeya brings fresh air into the industry. With some sort comings such as the climax’s abrupt appearance it is still trying to catch the string. Over all the Chandoo Mondeti proved himself as a good story teller with all the notations he made.
The story shows us the death of official who is from the Endowments Departments, when he went to Subramaniapuram for research purpose about a temple of Subramanya Swamy in a village. The rumors were like whenever anyone tries to investigate about it or simply discuss about it, a snake shows them the taste of death. The story is built more like a case study, and also the nature of Karthik as a keen observer of even slightest situations makes the story more believable. Soon after he realizes about the danger lurking around him and that is where the main story begins. Just in a matter of 5 minutes, Karthik’s mother gets lost while they were searching for each other. The mood graph was kept up during the perfect sync of sound tracks and cinematography. Overall Chandoo Mondeti managed to drag all the attention to engage it to the very end.
Nikhil role was quite impressive as a no-nonsense student in medical field. He’s being a person who relies totally on his instincts when facing an adversity. With his previous movies and this movie, he’s building up a really good resume of his career as an actor. He managed to grab many attentions towards him leading him towards heights. On the other hand Swati has a little scope to show her histrionics, and the list also includes other characters in this movie such as Kishore who played a role of a sincere police officer.
Overall, film has an excellent cinematography. With all the credit Karthik Ghattamaneni and Sekhar Chandra did an excellent job with their cinematography and music direction. And the story line was kept so clean with everyone actor and actress were well known about what they are doing. So, Karthikeya is one of the finer movie that came into production in recent times. So, a film like this can have couple of complements for all the hard work they did.
watchable for one time.,
