Jump Jilani

Jump Jilani is a Telugu film directed by E Sattibabu and produced by Ambika Raju starring Allari Naresh, Isha Chawla, Swathi Deekhit, Posani Krishna Murali, Jaya Prakash Reddy, Kota Srinivasa Rao. It was released on 12^th June, 2014. The film is all about twins, Sattibabu and Ram Babu played by Naresh who work hard to save their ancestral hotel.

Writing Naresh’s movies is like taking shots in the dark. If you’ve tried to make an infant laugh, you’ll understand that there’s no need of any method to make people laugh when it comes to his movies. Just few meaningless dialogues or weird expressions are enough to the job. An example of his dialogues include, “Nenu simham lanti wadini...daniki naku okate theda...naku duradaesthe nenu chetho gokuntanu, adi kalu tho gokuntunndi..migathadantha same to same” which when translated means, “”I’m like a lion…the only difference between us is…when it itches, I scratch with my hands while lion scratches with legs..Everything else is same to same. You can’t help but laugh in such situations. There is a situation when the twins tell the cop, Raghu Teja that they are “kamala pillalu” which in English means they are twins and in reply the cop says that he don’t care whose children they are. He understood that they are kamala’s children. There are many more such scenes in the film. It’s better to watch them on screen than to read it here.

Verdict: Coming to the overall review, it’s a regular routine comedy film we usually find in Allari Naresh’s films. If you like his comedy, then you can definitely go for it once.
