How to Train Your Dragon 2 is an English 3D computer animated action fantasy movie directed by Dean DeBlois and produced by Bonnie Arnold starring Jay Baruchel, Cate Blanchett, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz Plasse, T.J. Miller, Kristen Wiig, Djimon Hounsou, and Kit Harington. The fiml is based on the book series of Cressida Cowell. It is the sequel to the film, How to Train Your Dragon and was released on 13 June, 2014.

Four years after Hiccup played by Jay Baruchel befriends with Toothless, the dragon. Then comes the dragon trapper who wants to build his own dragon army for his good. The story all about the dragon riders rescue the dragons from the clutches of the villain.

The film makers did not remake the 2010 film, How to Train Your Dragon which was an Oscar nominated film. Infact, they kept the characters, the spirit, and the visual excellence of the previous film and introduced a new story, new characters and plot twists. They successfully managed to keep the high flying action impressively. No single scene gets sluggish and the 3D animation was excellent.

The film also gives valuable lessons without being preachy at all proving its universal appeal and cinematic excellence. Moreover, breathtaking imagery and perfect blend of humor and drama is going to leave you spellbound whether you are a child or an adult.

Other than visuals, emotional connections and plot are definitely surprise elements of this film. The cuteness of Toothless and Hiccup is quite adorable while the opening scenes are delightful. Toothless is all set for real challenges and Hiccup is no clumsy here.

Verdict: How to Train Your Dragon 2 is full of love, everlasting friendship making your tears rolls down. Watch it in 3D and live the movie. Here is a big yes to this film.
