Guardians of the Galaxy

“Guardians of the Galaxy” is an English action movie based on the book “Guardians of the Galaxy” by Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning directed by James Gunn and produced by Kevin Feige starring Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Lee Pace, Bradley Cooper, Benicio Del Toro, Vin Diesel, Glenn Close, Josh Brolin, John C. Reilly, Karen Gillian, Rob Zombie, Stan Lee.

The story is about a bounty hunter who steals an orb and then he finds many powerful enemies. He realizes that the orb shouldn’t reach the wrong hands anyway and so he forms a team with another four individuals and they decide to keep the orb away from the wrong hands.

Peter Quill is the aforementioned hunter while Ronan and his lord Thanos are at the evil side wanting to grab the orb for what it contains. This kind of action stories should not be explained. It’s recommended to watch on the big screen.

Gunn gave each guardian a well thought out and unique personality. The film is refreshing, innovative, quirky, delightful, well made and even boundary bending. The humor is so good and keeps on rolling throughout the film. The screenplay is tight with narration with few fissures.

Not only these, but the performances, strange characters, spaceships and the old 70s soundtrack are highlights of this film. You shouldn’t miss Stan Lee’s cameo.

Verdict: Overall, Guardians of the Galaxy is an awesome and must watch action movie. Go with your friends and enjoy watching it this weekend.
