Finding Fanny is an English/Hindi satirical film directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Dinesh Vijan starring Naseeruddin Shah, Arjun Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Kapur, Dimple Kapadia.

The story is about Ferdie and his friends to find out his love. So, is that Fanny his love? Will they be able to find her?

Well, Finding Fanny means not just one lady but two, Deepika padukone and Dimple Kapadia. Angie (Deepika), daughter-in-law of Madame Rosalyn (Dimple) is a widow living with her widow mother-in-law in the Goan village of Pokolim which has fallen off the map. Time passes by piecefully till the postmaster, Ferdie (Naseeruddin) has his proposal to Stefanie Fernandes returned after 46 years.

Angie is determined to help Ferdie to find out answers. She makes sure to enlist the Impala of Ruben-like painter Pedro (Pankaj Kapoor). Along with her, joins a mechanic (Arjun Kapoor), an artist (Pankaj Kapur). So, will find Fanny? How? This forms the rest of the story.

Deepika has done her part very nicely with great expressions and acting skills. Naseer seems like a desi Mr. Bean in bumbling and fumbling Ferdie role. Similarly, the handsome guy, Arjun kapoor has done a wonderful job for sure.

Finding Fanny isfunny, dark yet bright which keeps surprising throughout the film. An overacting Russian and macabre cat seem unneccessary here.

Verdict: With small creases, Finding Fanny is a scrumptious cake and you can definitely watch this utterly bitterly delicious film.
