The story revolves around a quite tough and ruthless guy, Guru (Siddharth) who works for a politician, Prahlad. He falls in love with Aisha (Shraddha) and he doesn’t sleep till he meets her. His life changes after meeting her and he convinces her for marriage as well. To begin a new life with her, he quits his job and moves Mumbai from Goa but unfortunately Aisha falls prey to an attack. Guru starts hunting for the culprit and somehow finds Rakesh (Riteish) but he doesn’t understand the reason behind Rakesh’s psychopathic nature. Does Guru finds out the reason behind Aisha’s death? Will Guru move forward choosing Aisha’s path or will he return back into his dark world again? To know the film should be watched directly on the screen.
The plot is full of romanticism and the music is melodious. The movie may be a remake of the Korean film, ‘I saw the devil’ but both aren’t same completely. You’ll feel the similarity to some extent only. The Korean film is full of action while Ek Villain is a combination of romance and action.
Coming to the music, Ankit’s music became a hit even before the release of this film. Sidharth did good job as an angry young man and Shraddha was also very good as usual. She looks beautiful in the film and Riteish is seen in a very different character. He also had done well as a serious person.
Verdict: Overall Ek Villain is a nice movie to watch with your family. Go for it this weekend.
