A Bank employee around 40 years old named Gopala Kirishna falls upside down for a trainer of aerobics Sameetha. But the twist is that his 19 year old son Madhu also falls in love with the same girl. The story entirely lies between the love triangle and the tricky way they manage it.
When it comes to tollywood it is quite rate when we find something unique. In this story Dikkulu Chudaku Ramayya, we find that uniqueness with little different story which is about a love triangle though it catches the same string throughout the film. There’s a lot we can talk about this movie as each character has something to different role. 40 year old psyche explored with feeling of love towards a girl suitable for his son. And there exists a wife with all that unrequired love which let her do anything to keep honor of her husband. And then the role comes to play when their son who also love the same girl which leads to a love triangle.
A married man with couple of kid still hit over all the beautiful girls he come across which is something his wife is unaware of. Gopala Krisha (Ajay) with the same young heart he owns at the age of 40, even after marriage, come across Sameetha (Sana Makbul) and falls for her. While his son Madhu (Naga Shaurya) also come across the same Sameetha after couple of days. Soon he realizes that he also fall in love with her.
The role of Ajay was quite impressively, no wonder he wanted to prove himself after he was restricted to supporting roles and villainous roles so far. He has successively steeled the character with noteworthy performance one more time. Naga Surya who was over showed by Ajay during most part of the movie, he still had kept name in the leading performers with this film. The short but important role played by Indraja also managed to add a good impression with her house wife character. But due to limitedly written script, her actions did not quite synced with her mindset until the final act of the film. While Brahmaji shown the exact meaning of blast in the harassed husband role he played.
But when we talk about the conclusion, the lead roles were highly concentrated, but the throughout screen play slipped from romantic comedy to emotional drama. It felt like the scenes were too many and the time was limited to slip in all the scenes where some parts were left empty.
