Desi Kattey is a Hindi action drama film directed by Anand Kumar and produced by Anand Kumar starring Sunil Shetty, Jay Bhanushali, Akhil Kapur, Sasha Agha.

The film is about two gangsters who get a chance for better life as sharp shooters at the world championship. The story forms on whether they’ll leave the guns for real glory or not.

This film will rip into your heart of the hindrance with bullets and gundas. The tale is about these two friends from different sides of same smoking barrel.

Pali and Gyaani are two orphan boys who had to make guns for living in a small town in UP. Modelling themselves on deadly idol, Judge Saab, a crime lord, these two grow up. The two boys become underage gundas with guns and slowly turn as ace shooters.

Then comes an ex-army officer, Major Suryakant Rathore who spots their shooting skills and wishes to train them for national level championship but Judge Saab averts by offering them an entry into the criminal world. Now, what are they going to choose among these two options?

Anand Kumar couldn’t reach up to the level to make even a fairly watchable film. The film doesn’t have a coherent story and believable characters. The dialogues and the editing are very poor. Also those few possibly high moments with gun power and blood couldn’t make the audience move a bit. Both the boys really tried hard to show up their emotions but it failed to trigger a reaction.

Only Ashutosh Rana and Suniel Shetty could put some weight to the film. Akhil tried too hard with his tress mess gangster look but couldn’t reach up to the mark. Tia and Sasha were the better halves of the two boys but even they couldn’t leave a mark.

A stupid scene shows Pali shooting with eyes shut at the championship.

Verdict: It’s a stupid film and is worth a skip.
