Boochamma Boochodu is a Telugu horror film directed by Rewon Yadu and produced by Prasad Reddy, Annare starring Shivaji, Kainaz Motiwala, Brahmanandam.
The story is about a happily married couple who buy a farm house but as they enter the house, happiness departs. Even the demons don’t let them go away from their clutches and that’s worse.
Living together is the highest priority for Karthik and Shravani over anything else but they realize very late the reason behind the quarrels between them and their weird behavior of beating each other. They get to know that a couple killed each other in that haunted house and these two spirits are trying to kill other yet again for 3rd time on 15th August. As the date nears by, the couple realizes that they’ll kill each other and this is what the two spirits are trying o do with them.
The director tried adding some humor to the story which isn’t that horrifying. Such types of films were attempted before many times but here the director added few twists. You won’t get edge of the seat excited but you’ll be curious enough to know if they’ll survive or not.
The makeup artist has done a fabulous job on Kainaz making her look really scary. And, yes, Kainaz has also put her skills in her role enough to scare you away. Shivaki needs to do much more than he did for his role in those circumstances to get more comfortable in the skin of his character.
Censoring was bad in this film. Foul words aren’t censored and that was so vulgar.
Verdict: if you avoid uncensored foul words, you can watch it once. It’s not that scary too. So you can definitely watch easily.
