Anamika was directed by Sekhar Kammula. It is a bilingual movie and was directed in Telugu and Tamil languages. Anamika is a remake of Hindi film KAHAANI directed by Sujoy Ghosh. In Telugu and Tamil, Nayanatara played the lead role. The music and background score was played by MM Keeravani and Yendamuri Veerenthranath penned the dialogues.
Anamika, a remake of thriller film named KAHAANI in Hindi already started gaining a lot of talk before the release. A lot of expectations on Anamika were observed on among audience and it didn’t disappoint much as well.
Anamika is not an out and out copy of Kahaani. Sekhar Kammula added few twists in Anamika. Movie’s first half is just okay for the audience and the second half made audience nail biting, crazy and edgy the least and the second half story picks up quickly.
Nayanatara was a big asset to this film and her overall performance in the movie was very good and Vaibhav Reddy played a sympathetic police officer role and the remaining actors done good job in their roles. The movie with time will make you more stunned and the climax is definitely going to send chills down your spine. The sound-track composition was quite good and Keervani’s music is good. Anamika is a thriller movie for those who didn’t watch the Hindi movie, Kahaani. Overall Anamika is a superb movie to watch.
Verdict: Anamika is a suspense-thriller that’s going to keep you at the edge of your seats.
