Aa Aiduguru – Athade CM is a Telugu action movie directed by Anil Jason Guduru starring Venkat, Asmita Sood, Kranthi Chand, Tanishq Reddy, Kranthi Kumar, Krishna Teja, Sashi Racha, Babu Mohan, Posani Krishnamurali and it was released on 4th July, 2014.
The chief minister plans to form a special task force to bring the change in this society and this duty is up on two police officers to train the candidates but unfortunately this doesn’t go as planned. The entire story revolves around how these candidates bring change to this society.
An IPS officer who became chief minister wants to bring change in the society with the help of youth but the ex-chief minister can’t tolerate this and tries to eliminate him. Thota Chakravarthy is the instructor at the AP Police Academy. NGF, Next Generation Force with new candidates picked up have to be trained. Chakravarthy knows the mindset of the new CM and so gets started with training all the candidates accordingly. There are five candidates who get booted out after getting enough chances to continue there. And using these five candidates, the ex-CM plans to eliminate the CM. He tries to make them a part of his plan forcibly.
The story was made with a purpose but most of the screen time got wasted which could have been avoided. Venkat played his role very well as an instructor. Asmita Sood is another senior officer at the academy but she had a minor role. Still she did quite well at her role and her fight sequence was also impressive. The CM’s character is elevated but due to this, two lives are lost. Asmita Sood is killed by the Ex-CM and a candidate who was sent out of the academy loses his life while saving the CM. This part wasn’t that good since the director’s entire concentration was on those five candidates who become beneficial for the society.
Story is good and turned out to be a plus point of this film. All the five guys have done their part well. Kranti has done well as Altaf and even Nagineedu was also good as an evil person. Climax of the film was executed quite interestingly.
At the same time execution of the film was poor. Even with an interesting story, the director couldn’t execute it on the screen properly. Venkat’s role sza an instructor was very short and the director this way wasted lots of time with some stupid comedy. Paipula comedy was so bad needed further editing. It seemed the film went out of the track.
Technically, the camera work was done well but all the songs went really bad spoiling the entire film. Dialogues were just average and so was the background score. Editing was really bad. This film requires too much of editing. The director truly disappointed even though he had a nice script.
Verdict: Simply, Aa Aiduguru – Athane CM is a film with good script but bad execution. For the script for only few actors, it can be watched on TV but not on the big screen.
