People try to focus on career, but it’s a challenge to avoid stress. It’s important to recognize the problem and combat stress. With simple tips, you won’t have excuse to not stay positive at work place with a busy schedule.

1. Clean your desk

Be sure to clean and organize the desk. Throw away all unnecessary files, dust the place and get a desk organizer. When the desk is clean, your brain becomes clean, so you’ll get more done in a day.

2. Don’t sleep in

Instead of clinging to bed for extra 15 minutes, get up and go to your office. Once you are there, write down the tasks list you should accomplish for the day or week. Calm yourself down by taking few deep breaths right before jumping into your work, and start working with a happy smile on the face. Don’t get afraid of work load and difficult tasks. If you are positive, you’ll accomplish them faster.

3. Be happy

It’s difficult to be happy at work, but it’s possible. If you hate the job, learn to notice most beautiful things there. When you stay happy, your brain is 31% more productive than usual, and you look much friendlier.

4. Love your job

Think of those few things you love about your job. Find something which makes you like your work, and pave the way to do more of it. This will help to combat stress and make you happier than before.

5. Keep a journal

If you are down, take few minutes and write down why you feel stressed at work. This way identify whether it’s a certain task, customer, or project, and you’ll be able to work with full control over it.

6. Find solutions

Identify the causes of your stress, start coping with them. Schedule a meeting with your incharge, and find solutions. Suggest your solutions and explain the issue.

7. Be ready

You can’t combat all stress, so you should be always ready. Make an emergency kit in order to cope with it, and it’ll feel less disastrous. Keep a water bottle on your desk to stay hydrated and a chocolate bar to give your boost brain.

These are few techniques you can use to get some relief from stress.
