Thai Mango Pudding

 

 

 

The Thai mango rice pudding is made using coconut, sweet rice and mango. This classic Thai desert is colorful, light, delicious, and fragrant and is a nice combo with tea or coffee after dinner. The recipe given here serves 4 people and takes just 5 minutes to prepare and 20 minutes to cook. Overall the yummy dessert for your family is ready in just ½ an hour.

 

 

Ingredients

 

1.       Uncooked white rice – 1 ½ cups

 

2.       Water – 2 cups

 

3.       Sugar, or to taste – ¾ cup

 

4.       Peeled and sliced mangoes - 2

 

5.       Can cream of coconut  – 285g (optional)

 

 

Directions

 

1.       Take both rice and water in a pan and put over medium flame to boil. Now cover it and lower the flame.

 

2.       Simmer for 15 – 20 minutes till the water is absorbed completely.

 

3.       Mix sugar as per requirement in that hot rice and take it into 4 bowls

 

4.       Top it with the peeled mango slices and pour some coconut cream over it of each bowl of rice.

 

5.       Serve and enjoy the taste with your family.
