Split ends have become a very common problem every girl these days. This actually happens when the outer layer of the hair is damaged. If your hair is too much exposed to heat or sun, this may result in split ends. So, do we have any home remedy for this? Obviously, the answer is yes.

 

 

1. Natural Hair Oil:

 

Oil

 

Moisturizing hair before shampooing is very essential. Mix coconut oil, almond oil, and olive oil. Use this to moisturize your scalp and hair. Make sure you apply it well to your hair roots. Leave it for an hour or leave it overnight and then shampoo.

 

 

2. Mayonnaise:

 

It’s an awesome hair conditioner. Apply it to your hair strands especially your hair roots and leave it for 40 – 50 minutes followed by rinsing.

 

 

3. Egg:

 

Mix one egg yolk, 1 tbsp almond oil and apply this to your scalp. Leave it for 30 minutes and then rinse it off well.

 

 

4. Honey:

 

Honey is well known to condition your hair. Mix 1 tbsp of it with half cup of yogurt or curd. Use this for your hair and make sure you apply this well to your split ends. Leave it for an hour and rinse well with plain water. Do this thrice a month.

 

 

5. Papaya:

 

Remove the seeds from a papaya and blend it into a smooth paste. Add curd and olive oil to this and apply this. Leave it for at least 30 minutes and rinse well.

 

 

6. Banana:

 

Banana

 

Mash a banana and add 3 tbsp milk and a raw egg to it. If you have dry hair, add 2 – 3 tbsp honey to this mixture. Apply this well to your hair and scalp. Leave it for an hour and then shampoo.

 

 

7. Vitamin E:

 

Vitamin E is best known for curing split ends. Get a Vitamin E capsule and mix it in lukewarm castor oil. Apply this to your scalp and hair; leave it for at least 30 minutes and then shampoo.

 

 

8. Essential Oils:

 

Choose essential oil of your choice or prefer sandalwood essential oil. Use 10 drops of it to mix with 2 tbsp of aloe vera gel and use it for your hair roots. Leave it for an hour and rinse well.

 

 

9. Beer:

 

Do you know that beer can do much more than you think for your hair? Massage some beer to your hair strands and leave it for 20 minutes and then rinse well with plain water.

 

 

10. Wash:

 

If you are a regular swimmer or if you visit the gym regularly, then it’s important to wash your hair well after the session since the salt in the pool or in your sweat is harmful for your hair and cause split ends.

 

So, these are few easy home remedies you may like to try to cure your split ends. Instead of trimming it so often to get rid of them, try to cure it and make them healthy. These remedies work well. You just need to do any of them once a week and see the result slowly.
