Are you a night owl? Sleeping late and waking up late works for you but there are many benefits of waking up early in the morning. Here are few reasons why you should wake up early and sleep early. Moreover changing the habit is also not that difficult as we think. We can discuss on that aspect as well.

 

Wake Up

 

Suitable Time to Exercise:

 

Yoga exponents and all the fitness experts always advise to exercise early in the morning since it increases the productivity for the entire day. It improves the metabolism. Doing yoga asanas or walking or jogging or brisk walking early in the morning refreshes our mind and body.

 

Soak in Quietude:

 

You don’t get to hear traffic sounds, kids shouting, TV sounds, and all the remaining sounds we hear all day long. Early mornings are always peaceful and pleasant. Opening yourself and starting your day in peace daily is good for you.

 

Connect To Yourself:

 

It’s the beginning of your day. It’s the perfect time to decide and plan your day. Sort out the priorities and plan what works you want to complete that day.

 

Breakfast on Time:

 

If wake up late, you eat your breakfast in hurry or even skip sometimes which is unhealthy. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. If you wake up early, you’ll get enough time in the morning to make a healthy and fulfilling breakfast and enjoy it.

 

Less Traffic:

 

You can finish your work outdoors in the morning since at that time traffic is quite lighter compared to mid day. With less traffic, you can enjoy travelling as well.

 

Ways to Wake Up Early

 

No Drastic Changes:

 

You should never make drastic changes. Start slowly. Just wake up 30 minutes earlier than usual. Do this for few days and then cut back another 30 minutes and repeat. Do it till you reach your goal time.

 

Sleep Early:

 

If you are waking up 30 minutes earlier than before, make sure you sleep 30 minutes early than your usual sleeping time. You might be sleeping late due to various reasons like surfing net or watching TV but you have to manage your time.

 

Alarm Far From Your Bed:

 

If your alarm is near your bed, you’ll either shut it down or hit snooze and you know that you’ll sleep again. But if your alarm is far away from your bed, you have to wake up from the bed and then hit snooze. Remember, once you are up, you should stay up.

 

Get Out of The Bedroom:

 

Don’t let yourself to get back to your bed after shutting down the alarm. Get out of your bedroom immediately and do something like washing your face and get ready to face the day.

 

Motivate Yourself:

 

Get a good reason to wake up early. If you set yourself to do something in the morning, you’ll be motivated automatically to stay awake and won’t go back to the bed.
