Poached Egg

 

 

Egg lovers will love poached eggs recipe for sure. There are two methods to make it, i.e., in microwave or on stove.

 

 

In Microwave:
 

 

Requirements:

 

A microwave

 

Small bowl - 1

 

Egg - 1

 

 

Method:

 

1. Break an egg and take the yolk into the ramekin. Puncture the yolk surface swirling it around and, make sure not to break the yolk.

 

2. Just you have to make pores on the membrane else your egg will explode in the microwave.

 

3. On 50 per cent power, nuke for 30 sec. If you are unable to figure it out, nuke on full power for 20 sec.

 

4. Now wait for at least 3 sec and repeat the same process for 30 or 20 sec.

 

5. Wait for 3 more seconds and ignore all the noises inside your microwave. Repeat the nuking process.

 

6. If you like hard egg, then repeat once again or let it be.

 

7. With a wet knife take the poached egg out of the ramekin in to a waiting English muffin.
 

 

On Stove:
 

 

Requirements:

 

Metal bowl - 1

 

Saucepan – 1

 

Water – 20ml

 

Egg – 1

 

 

Method:

 


1. Take water in a saucepan and boil it.

 

2. Break an egg and take the yolk into a metal bowl. Dab a single drop of oil in it to make it easier to remove the egg later.

 

3. Put the metal bowl containing the yolk in the water and lower the flame.

 

4. Cover the saucepan and lwt the steam do its work on the yolk.

 

5. Check once every 3 minutes and turn off the stove when the yolk color changes and hardens.

 

6. Using tongs take out the metal bowl out of the saucepan. Take out the egg onto your toast with the help of a wet knife.

 

7. And your poached egg is ready to eat.
