Palak Curry

 

 

Ingredients:

 

Washed and chopped spinach bunch – 1

 

Chopped medium sized onions – 2

 

Chopped ripened large tomato – 1

 

Chopped garlic cloves – 2

 

Cumin seeds – ½ tsp

 

Turmeric powder – ½ tsp

 

Chilli powder – 2 tsp

 

Coriander powder – 1 tsp

 

Garam masala powder – ½ tsp

 

Yogurt – 2 tbsp

 

Salt – As per requirement

 

Oil – As per requirement


Method:

 

1. Take chopped onions, tomatoes, and garlic, and make paste with them by grinding. Start whipping the spinach in a blender and keep it aside when finished.

 

2. Take some oil in a pan and heat it. Add cumin seeds to it and then add the paste you prepared. Cover it and cook for some time till the gravy becomes thick enough.

 

3. Now mix some garam masala or spice powder, salt and stir well.

 

4. Now add the spinach puree and lower the heat. Cook it for about 10 min. Turn off the stove and mix yogurt in it.

 

5. Serve and enjoy the curry with your family.
