Mock Dobos Torte is yet another wonderful desert which takes around 1 hour to make but still is a simple recipe. Only three ingredients can make this desert. Slice, garnish with raspberries, and serve it.
Ingredients:
Thawed and frozen pound cakes – 2
Chocolate beans – 1 packet/ 12 ounces
Sweetened condensed milk - 1 can/ 14 ounces
Method:
1. Take pound cakes and thaw and then remove out of oil pan.
2. Cut it horizontally through whole loaf. Slice it into four equal slices or layers.
3. Take a medium sized bowl and combine chocolate chips and sweetened condensed. Let the chips melt and the mixture turns smooth.
4. Frost a cake with half of the mixture. Spread around ¼ cup on the bottom layer of the pound cake.
5. Put another pound cake layer and repeat.
6. If the frosting starts thickening, microwave for 15-20 seconds till it becomes thin and spreadable.
7. Decorate with berries or chocolate chips, cut it and serve.
