Our mothers and grandmothers have long and thick hair but strive hard to get such hair. Wonder why? We are too much of pollution and too busy to spend some time for our hair. Whatever may be the reason, let’s check what all precautions we can minimum take to protect our hair and make a way to let it grow faster.

 

Trim Hair Every 3 Months:

 

 

Our hair grows at the rots and your tips are the oldest part of the hair. If you don’t trim it from time to time, your hair strands split preventing proper hair growth. So, it’s very important to trim it every 2-3 months.

 

Oil Massage:

Heat oil slightly and massage it to your scalp for few minutes slowly in circular motion. Coconut oil, olive oil, almond oil, jojoba oil etc. can do wonders.

 

Massages:

Not only during oiling, you can also massage while washing your hair. Massage your scalp for 30-60 seconds while washing your scalp to stimulate the hair follicles for better hair growth.

 

Hair Wash:

Do you know how often washing hair is healthy? Few say regularly but if your hair undergoes with these chemicals regularly, there are more chances f hair loss and damage. It is recommended to wash just twice a week and if your hair is oily, then wash it thrice a week.

 

Conditioners:

Conditioning your hair every time you wash your hair is important. Get a deep conditioning treatment once a month from a good salon or do it yourself at home. For deep conditioning, you can apply steam to it or just wrap a towel dipped n hot water round your head. This will make your hair silky smooth.

 

Lots of Water:

 

 

Drink at least 8 gasses of water. This will hydrate your hair from inside and make it stronger helping in proper hair growth.

 

Brush Carefully:

Marcia Brady brushes hair for 100 times a day. This sounds silly but brushing hair stimulates hair follicles and this should be carefully. DD not brush harshly. You need nt brush 100 times but doing it just 2-3 times in the morning, evening and night is enough.

Never ever brush your wet hair. This will only result in more hair damage and hair fall. If it’s necessary, then use a wide toothed comb just to detangle your hair very carefully.

 

Do Not Blow Dry:

Blow drying causes hair damage. Everyone knows this well but in the busy tight schedule; we need a blow dryer to dry our hair fast. It’s always recommended to air dry hair but if it’s not possible, at east low heat should be used while drying.

 

Avoid Hair Styling:

 

Lots of hair styling simply means lots of hair damage. It should be strictly avoided. Instead go for a cold blow dry and leave it like that.

 

Scarves and Hats:

Other than all the tips above, it’s important to protect hair from harsh sun and pollution. Use scarves, hats to protect yourself.

 

Avoid Stress:

Avoid stress as much as possible. Opt for yoga and meditation to get some peace of mind.
