Last time we check Aam ka panna which is quite delicious and cooling. Here is Imli ka panna which is cooling and delicious too. This sweet, tangy, sour and spicy imli ka panna or tamarind juice can protect you from sun strokes.

 


Ingredients:


Tamarind — 100 gms
Jaggery — 300 gms
Salt — 1tsp
Rock salt — 1tsp
Cumin powder — 1tsp
Brown mustard seed — 1tsp
Green chillies — 4
Garlic — 4 cloves
Ginger — small knob
Mint and coriander leaves — few
Boondi — for garnishing



Method:
 

1. Boil tamarind, jiggery and a pinch of salt.

2. Allow it to cool down and hen filter the pulp and strain.

3. Add salt, rock salt and cumin powder to this and keep aside.

4. Take this into a jar and add green chilies, mint leaves, garlic, ginger and coriander and then grind it into paste.

5. Add cold water and temper with brown mustard seed.

6. Use boondi and coriander to garnish and serve chilled.
