Herbal Tea

 

 

These are rich in vitamin C and healthy nutrients. Here is a simple herbal tea recipe that can help in getting rid of cold and cough this winter season. To stay healthy you may also prefer drinking it regularly.

 

 

Preparation Time: 5 mins
 

Cooking Time: 7 mins

 


Ingredients:

 

1.       Indian basil leaves - 1/2 cup

2.       Mint leaves - 1/4 cup

3.       Roughly chopped ginger - 1 tbsp

4.       Honey - 2 tbsp

 

 

Method:

 

1.       Take basil leaves, ginger and mint leaves in a blender and blend it well into a coarse paste with little water.

 

2.       Take this paste into a non-stick saucepan and add 1 ½ cups of water to it. Mix them well and let it boil for about 5 to 7 min and keep stirring occasionally.

 

3.       Take a strainer and strain this mixture. Mix some honey to this and serve hot.
