Caring for your hands and fingers is as important as caring for your face and hair. Manicures are becoming popular due to the amount of pampering that individuals go through during the process.

Feel pampered, feel fresh:

Your finger nails and fingers come into contact with everything that your eyes see and sometimes, also with things that you are not aware of. Hence it is very important that you care of them properly and give them the help that they need.

Manicures involve moisturizing your hand and giving your nails the perfect shape and finishing them with a good shade of nail colour. Manicures leave you with soft skin and well groomed fingers that are irresistible for your own self.

There are various types of manicures that are provided by professionals. Some of these varieties have been tried at home by hard core beauty freaks. With time, more varieties of manicures have arrived. Yet, one style remains unchanged and always in trend- French manicures.

Getting started:

French manicures give you the elegance and well groomed look that not many manicure varieties can deliver. The classy appeal is easy to be done at home.

1. First, make sure that your nails are clean.

2. Clip them in the proper shape and make sure that your nails are straight or only slightly curved. Arched and extremely curved tips don’t go well with French manicure.

3. File them in one direction only, so that your nails are not prone to damage.

4. If you want to create spa effect, then take a bowl of warm water and dip your hands in it and let them soak for at least one or two minutes. Then push your cuticles with the help of a cuticle pusher. Remove the dirt under your nails if any.

5. Buff the top of your nails and then massage the cuticle oil properly.
