Here are few simple steps to declutter you’re your house space. Are you one of those who blames for lack of space for unorganized things? Then these tips are for you.

 

 

1. If you try to do everything at a time, you are going to get tired and feel stressed out. Instead of it, keep schedule and do it every day for 20 – 30 minutes only. This way you won’t get frustrated and you get to check more things.

 

2. Stop getting new things home even though you’ve decluttered your house completely.

 

3. If there’s anything useless to you in your house, don’t discard it. See if you can use it in any other way or simply give it to someone who needs it.

 

4. Fix a date by which you want to finish this work. This way your goal is set and so you’ll get motivated to do things faster.

 

5. Start doing from the corners of your house and then move to the remaining parts of it. Finish the superficial things first and then go towards the main stuff.

 

6. Make sure your storage space is less. Don’t fill it with stuff.

 

7. Make sure you get rid of things you don’t need.

 

8. Finish doing one room after the other. Don’t start two or more rooms at a time. This will only tire you more.

 

9. Take your family members’ help to get through things. They may help you get over the emotional attachment you may have for useless objects.

 

10. You shouldn’t feel the stress while you work. Listen to some good music while working and treat yourself after finishing it. This way you’ll stay refreshed.

 

11. Sort your clothes properly. Keep skirts together. Keep the jeans and tops together while woolen clothes can be placed behind all the remaining clothes since you don’t need them all the time.

 

12. Use plastic organizers to keep clothes at right place.
