Gym Mistakes

 

 

Joining a gym doesn’t mean you’ll become fit and everything is perfect. There are chances of committing mistakes there too. Here are few mistakes listed below that you might be doing unknowingly. Take a look and see what you can do about these.

 

 

#1: Lack of intensity

 

You’ve decided to join gym and work out there. So, don’t do other stuff like watching TV or reading a magazine. If you are going to work out there, then you must do it. Have the intensity and train yourself hard.

 

 

#2: Wrong estimation of calorie burn

 

Those machines often show wrong numbers. Make sure not to get tricked by them and don’t think you’ve done too much or too little. Your cycle or stepper may show that you’ve burnt 300 calories but in real it might be just 200 calories. This depends on how you work out on it. If you lean too much on the bars, then the numbers go wrong.

 

 

#3: Sticking to same routine

 

Never stick to the same workout all the time. It’ll bore you out but it’s not the only reason. Mix things up with various types of exercise sets every day.

 

 

#4: Being too rushed

 

You shouldn’t get too rushed. Slow down since gym routines need some commitment from your side. You should get serious about it and do it unhurriedly. You shouldn’t do an exercise just to finish it off early. This way you won’t get full benefit out of it.

 

 

#5: Just socialising but no exercise

 

Most of the people see gym as to catch friends, chat and laugh. They lose the concentration on the task they need to do. They even don’t realize that they are passing the time and not getting anything. Save this time to work out and chat another time.
