Can we neglect coconut in the kitchen? It’s well known that coconut is one of the mostly used ingredients especially in South India. Grated coconut can be used to prepare coconut chutney and also can be used in sweet preparation such as nariyal ke laddoo (cocnut laddoo) and rava laddoo (Suji r Semolina laddoo). Here is a quick list of few famous and tasty coconut dishes to check.

Fried French beans with grated coconut
French beans is a simple yet a tasty Andhra cuisine which takes just around 10 min and gives you mouth watery delicious dish. All you need for this curry are French beans and some grated coconut.

Nariyal/Coconut Laddoo

Nariyal is the Hindi meaning of coconut. Coconut is also used in deserts and there many delicious recipes to try among which the most simple and famous desert is its laddoo. This will take just 15 min t prepare and though ingredients required are grated coconut, milk powder, sugar and boiled milk.

Coconut Chutney
Talk about South Indian breakfast and you’ll know that nariyal/coconut chutney is most common there. To add some more taste to it, try adding some mint or yogurt to it. This will add extra flavor and taste.

Why not use coconut in curries? Combine green coriander, a vegetable say cauliflower, small ginger piece, green chill and some grated coconut and try making a curry. Like cauliflower, you can try any vegetable you want.
