We always admire and dream of a healthy and glowing skin but how many of us really follow he basic skin rules and avoid committing skin sins? It’s true that with our busy and tight schedule we don’t get enough time to follow beauty regimes properly but it’s also true that we don’t need hours to get that beautiful skin. By avoiding few skincare sins and following few simple tips and tricks you can look gorgeous.

Sin #1: Stepping out without sunscreen

 

The harmful UV rays affects badly to our skin resulting in dark patches and tan which with time becomes difficult to remove. So, it’s very important to step out of home wearing a good SPF sunscreen.

 

 

Sin #2: Popping the pimples

 

Even though you are facing pimple problem, you shouldn’t pop them with your hand or nails. It’s a skin crime. In such case, you need to visit a dermatologist and get good skin care products to cure them effectively.

 

 

Sin #3: Junk foods and unhealthy lifestyle

 

Fast foods, alcohol, and smoke are enemies of your skin. If you want your skin to stay healthy and flawless, you should avoid over indulgence with these things. These affect skin texture, health and color.

 

 

Sin #4: Usage of too many chemically treated cosmetics

 

Too much of makeup products clog skin pores avoiding it to breath properly. Instead of using more chemical cosmetics, try opting for herbal products for beautiful skin.

 

 

Sin #5: Soap for your face

 

Your facial skin is 10 times sensitive than your body skin and it is a must not to use body products for face. That’s a common sense, isn’t it? Never use soaps to clean your face. Instead, go for face cleansers and face wash. Make sure your facial skin is always moisturized and hydrated.

 

 

Sin #6: Sleeping with makeup

 

After a long and tiring day, we often avoid cleaning our face and sleep which isn’t good for your face at all. These makeup products shouldn’t stay on your skin for such longer hours. So, how much ever you are tired, remove the makeup completely from your face and neck before going to bed.

 

 

Sin #7: Hot water bath

 

You like to use hot water in winters. It’s absolutely fine but never take hot water bath throughout the year. You may feel relaxed and rejuvenated after a hot water bath but boiling hot water can make your skin look dry and flaky. Make sure the water is just lukewarm.

 

 

Sin #8: Use of common cosmetics and combs

 

Usually kids and teenagers share cosmetics and combs with each other. Sharing is a good gesture but there are several things which shouldn’t be shared for your benefits. Never use others’ towels, combs and cosmetics. These may carry bacteria and result in breakouts.

 

 

Sin #9: Overdoing beauty regime

 

Obviously overdoing anything isn’t good. The same goes for your skin as well. Facials and face packs are good but if you do them regularly, they only do is harm your skin. It leaves your skin dry and patchy. At least 10 – 15 days of gap is must between two sessions of facials for glowing skin.

 

 

Sin #10: Night over or late night sleeping

 

In every 24 hours, minimum 7-8 hours of sleep is a must. Late night sleep results in dark circles. Almost everyone is aware of this fact. So, it’s advised to have a beauty sleep every day.
